January Loot Crate Time!

It's almost the end of January and that means it's time to open up a box of Loot Crate surprises! The theme for January is Launch - all the space and alien things! I liked the variety of this month's box; it has a toy, a book, a patch, stickers, a calendar, and more. Since it has the Star Wars Galactic Phrase Book, it became my favorite Loot Crate box ever. Not too shabby at all. Plus, the accompanying magazine has an interview with systems engineer Bobak Ferdowsi from JPL (a.k.a. NASA Mohawk Guy).

The random theme and items are a gamble each month, but this box happened to really suit my tastes. I don't play Minecraft, but everything else is going on my shelves and all for great value! I estimate the retail value of these items to be over $40. Not so bad when you pay less than $20 (shipping and handling included) for your monthly subscription.
