Geek & Sundry's Talkin' Comics Weekly Is Pretty Much the Best

Geek & Sundry is the home of a variety of entertaining and educational shows, and one of my favorites is Talkin' Comics Weekly with Amy Dallen. The show is "dedicated to new releases and comic-book-related adventures." Every week Amy focuses on a comic/graphic novel/trade and goes out into the world at large on an associated adventure. She also runs through some quick picks for the week that will help you make your comics shopping list. You never know where she'll go or who will appear in the short, easy-to-make-time-to-watch episodes.

This week, the show is all about the Avatar: The Last Airbender comics. After Amy gives you a primer, she goes out to learn waterbending with Dante Basco, the voice of Zuko. And yes, he's the guy who played Rufio in Hook.



Besides the awesomeness of having someone walk you through comics choices and give you some trips, Amy is just the best. She's genuinely enthusiastic, and she's geek-flailing right along with you. I'm a little biased because I got to know her through my favorite comic book shop in Los Angeles, but I think you'll agree she's awesome and so is Talkin' Comics Weekly.
