Saga's Lying Cat is My Favorite

I like reading comics, and I'm a crazy cat lady so it's no surprise that I fell for Lying Cat. The hairless cat appears in Saga - if you haven't checked out Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples' Saga, I can't say enough good things about the inventive story, engaging characters, wonderful art, etc. - and though she doesn't seem to have the ability talk, she is able to state when someone around her is lying. Yeah, she's a handy companion to have by your side. Or a pain in the butt if you're trying to tell a fib for a good reason.

There is a dearth of official Lying Cat merchandise, but luckily fans are making up for it. Browsing the interwebs turned up a few neat pieces, and I wanted to share in case anyone else has strong feelings about Lying Cat.

This Lying Cat custom Munny by Melissa is my absolute favorite, I love the design, the colors, and since Lying Cat is hairless, it's better than a plushie! You can order one of your very own from her shop.

Make your own Lying Cat toy with this crochet pattern from Gracie Fairfax. You can make a "Lying" word bubble out of card stock to go with it.

Get the gang from Saga in terrific 8-bit! Perler beads make for cute art or magnets. Buy these little guys from Gotham City Crafts.
